This is my old college roommate, fine guitarist and wonderful composer of Brazilian tunes, David Rosenblatt. Shortly after graduation, he received a Watson Fellowship to travel to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and self-immerse in that musical tradition for an entire year! Rough. I recorded two of his earlier tunes, O Cristo Carioca and Subindo o Morro, on my album “Lost Bohemia”. I love this tune Abertura do Verao which you will find on the “Joie de Vivre” recording.
